Give a high level overview of your business. What products or services you offer, where you're located, etc.
I’m a medical esthetics spa located in Lafayette Colorado. I currently off treatments in neurmotoxins (Botox,dysport), Fillers for face and lips, microneedling with or without PRP, for face and hair restoration. I am just starting my business.

What inspired you to step into the world of small business?
I have been a nurse in labor and delivery for 28 years and decided it’s time in my life to do something new that I feel really passionate about! I’m offering services that I love to have done to me.

Describe your typical customer and what you love about your customers.
My typical customer is someone like me looking to have treatments done to preserve their youthful appearance or to take a few years off.

What led your business to seek out new/additional funding?
Well I didn’t have the funds myself so I looked around to find funding to help me start my business and to also help me along the way!

Describe your difficulties in obtaining funding for your small business and how that impacted you and your business.
Oh!!! Finding funding was not an easy path. I searched and searched, talked to many institutes for funding with no success! And to be honest I don’t really remember how I came across CEF but what a blessing! This was still a lot of work but they listened and guided me along the way.

What was different about working with CEF compared to other lenders?
They are the difference! They guide you and help you along the way, they also offer support with your small business!

What were you able to do with the funding you received from CEF?
I was able to get the education I needed as well as funding my consulting firm and purchase the products I needed to open.

What's on the horizon for you and your small business?
On the horizon, I’m continuing my education to learn more and more about techniques and procedures to advance my skills.

What recent success(es) have you experienced in your business?
I have finally started to get customers and continue my efforts to get more and get out into the community as well.
