Loan Production Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Loan Production Manager is essential to keeping our lending team moving in tandem. This role requires someone who is great with people and systems to ensure loan operations are running smoothly from end to end. The LPM will ensure our lending team has the structure they need to be responsive to our borrowers. This role includes directly managing our team of Loan Closing Specialists and ensuring our practices are in compliance at all times. Bilingual Business Advisor

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Building relationships with CEF borrowers and helping them step into their potential and thrive as business owners is what this role is all about! This Spanish fluent position is responsible for providing effective business coaching (also called “technical assistance”) to CEF clients, as part of our Business Acceleration Services (BAS) team.  Along with providing direct coaching to entrepreneurs, the BAS Advisor will support the BAS Manager in setting up community events, hosting webinars, and building partnerships in the business community.

 

The BAS team provides coaching, tools, and resources to entrepreneurs to help them position their businesses for success. This coaching may include helping clients with setting up financial documents such as cashflow or profit and loss statements, reviewing operations for increased profitability, and devising marketing strategies for a variety of business sectors. BAS advisors are provided with tools and templates to use with clients and are also encouraged to bring their unique set of skills and resources to their work.

Business Development Officer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Officer role is all about relationships. We serve our mission by identifying small business owners who cannot secure a loan through a bank. The BDO builds strong relationships with commercial bankers and community organizations in their service area to generate a strong pipeline of leads. Your primary job is to help people understand CEF’s mission and how we can serve them through our lending options.  

When a banker in your region has to say “no” to a potential small business loan, we want them to know to send the deal to you so CEF can make it happen. As a result, you’ll get the opportunity to help immigrants, veterans, women, minorities and people from economically distressed areas build their dreams. You help create jobs, build wealth, and bring important products and services to communities that have historically had less access to resources. You’ll see the impact of your work as you drive through your communities and see the small businesses you helped thriving. Any entrepreneur who cannot secure a bank loan is someone we’re excited to work with.

Special Projects Contractor

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Special Projects Contractor will support CEF in the implementation and administration of special projects. Special Projects that CEF is routinely involved in include Grant Program Administration and Short-term loan programs. The Contractor will support CEF in reviewing and processing applications for a variety of small business grant and loan programs on an as-needed basis. Most programs operate for short windows of time, usually one to two months, with a variety of programs arising at different times throughout the year. We are seeking candidates who are looking for flexible, part-time work that sometimes requires a high level of engagement and at other times is quiet.

Administrative Support Contractor
POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Administrative Support Contractor will support CEF in administrative duties related to CEF’s grant and loan programs. Contractor will support CEF in processing documents and applications for grants and loans, ensuring information is entered accurately into software systems and stored appropriately according to CEF’s file management protocols. We are seeking candidates who are looking for flexible, part-time work that sometimes requires a high level of engagement and at other times is quiet.
