Business Navigator Partners

CEF is proud of our commitment to providing Business Navigators to help guide small business owners on their journey. We provide one-on-one coaching, online resources, and other tools. We also work with many worthwhile organizations throughout Colorado that are also helping small business owners with workshops, training, and necessary tools to be successful. Below is a list of several organizations CEF partners with to provide Business Navigation services.

African Chamber of Commerce Colorado:  This Chamber works with CEF to provide information and facilitate access to capital and finance.  CEF provides business workshops with a focus on lending and the needed documents to apply for a small business loan.   

AMPLIFY: Organization through Trinity United Methodist Church that focuses on expanding access and dismantling financial barriers for black business owners.  CEF provides business coaching to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.  

Alianza/Alliance Center: This center in Thornton is a resource to support local businesses to start, grow, and thrive.  They provide services in English and Spanish. CEF helps with providing a bilingual business expert to work with Alianza members one day per week turning their good ideas into businesses.

Aspen Institute: CEF is working with Aspen Institute to implement a Quality Jobs Program which will focus on helping owners create quality jobs and invest in employees to provide a rewarding workplace while also investing in their business’s future. Black Business Initiative and Aya Foundations: These two organizations are teaming together with CEF to create a vibrant community of black entrepreneurs.

Colorado Springs Black Chamber of Commerce: This Chamber works with CEF to provide information and facilitate access to capital and finance.  CEF provides business workshops with a focus on lending and the needed documents to apply for a small business loan. 

Community Wealth Building: CEF and Community Wealth Building work together on efforts to provide quality jobs, economic mobility, and economic prosperity that is inclusive and provides opportunities for employees and entrepreneurs to thrive in Metro Denver.

Foundation for Black Leadership/ Sistah Biz: Sistahbiz is a business accelerator providing affordable options for coaching, training, and services to help Black women build scalable, sellable models and access the financial and social capital that they need to be successful in business.

Mi Casa Resource Center:  CEF works with Mi Casa to educate, train, and support youth and adults on their path to economic success.  CEF does many workshops throughout the year to help entrepreneurs launch their businesses. 

Small Business Development Centers (SBDC): CEF works with various SBDCs located throughout the state.  The 14 SBDCs are committed to providing no-cost consulting and low-cost training and workshops to entrepreneurs.  CEF works with these SBDCs by providing our Business Navigators as expert coaches, leading workshops, sponsoring conferences and seminars, and other activities to help businesses grow and prosper. 

Youth on Record: CEF teams with Youth on Record to empower teens in some of Denver/Aurora's most vulnerable communities to make life choices that positively impact their future. CEF helps by providing workshops to young musicians on how to turn their art into a business.        

Underground Musical Showcase: UMS has evolved into Denver’s largest and longest-running music festival.  CEF works with UMS to provide workshops for musicians attending the festival on how to turn their music into a money-making venture.
